Moistboyz, the Offspring, Pennywise
3/?/94, City Gardens, Trenton, NJ Arrived with enough Leeds Vodka in my system to stun the Jersey Devil, and while I was dealing with the door knobs, the Moistboyz were onstage doing "U Blow", oddly enough. Missed half the set due to the two hour trek we had to make over the Mullica and through the pines, but from the few tunes I heard the full blown band sounded pretty good. While I waited around to do the interview, I felt like I was stuck in a mall Spaceport somewhere without the Total Carnage machine. And what I saw of the Offspring was distressing. Is this what passes for punk these days? Christian revivals have more fire. We're doomed. -Greg |
